Heilbronn Wine Tour - Trollinger, Lemberger and the Wartberg Slope

Heilbronn is the oldest wine town in Württemberg. Trollinger and Lemberger are the essential Heilbronn grape varieties, the Wartberg and Klingenberg the most important slopes, and the winegrowers' cooperative the central wine address. This wine tour leads through all three anchor points plus Heilbronn's 'Besen' wine-tavern tradition.

Day 1 - Wartberg and downtown

The climb from the Trappensee through the Heilbronn Trollinger and Lemberger vineyards up to the Wartberg tower. Over two hours of walking with a stop at the lookout tower.

A vinotheque with tastings. Here you can work through the whole Württemberg Trollinger range. Plus a wine shop for gifts.

Day 2 - Klingenberg and the Besen

The Heilbronn wine district par excellence. Steep slopes above the Neckar, Trollinger and Lemberger, and a wine trail with information panels.

A family winery with a wine-tavern atmosphere - estate wines, regional cold platters and a courtyard overlooking the slope.
