The Neckarbogen is the green legacy of the 2019 Federal Garden Show (BUGA). On 40 hectares of former industrial wasteland a whole new district emerged, with Lake Karls, a chain of ponds, floating houses and a permanent park along the Neckar. The urban landscape experiment has become a model admired across Europe.
